So I am 31 weeks now.. Take a look at this belly! LOL

Prenatal Classes

Jess and I started our prenatal classes this week. Our teacher seems really nice and she has been doing this for 24 years.. There are 3 other couples in the class with us so it's nice and small which we like and I think we will get more out of the class this way.

Closet

Since we will be needing to use Jesse's closet upstairs for the baby (as well as his dresser) we had to make Jess a new closet downstairs in the laundry room. It turned out really nice actually..

New Curtains

My good friend Amber is making me new curtains for my kitchen.. this is what she has done so far. The bottom will be this red and white checked and the top valances will be a solid red.

First Baby Shower

My family threw me my first baby shower last weekend. It was beautiful and they did an awesome job as always. We had a chicken waldorf salad with crossaints, fruit, cheese and meat tray, those yummy cream puffs and for desert we had a build your own sundae bar! A lot of my camping B.I.'s were there along with family. We played several games too: mini saftey pins in rice while blind folded and guess the baby food on the diaper (hilarious!). We got so many wonderful baby gifts too.. she is certainly set with all the cute socks she got that day. Here are some pics of the shower.

Changing Table

Last summer right when I found out I was pregnant I was garage saleing and found this changing table for $20.00. I bought it thinking I would use it somewhere in the house and even if I didn't, it was only $20.00.. Well, I finally brought it into the house over the weekend and put it in the baby's room. The wood matches perfectly with the crib and the dresser. You can tell it's not a "set" but who the heck cares right :) Now my changing table dilemma is over! Here is one pic. I was also going through all the clothes people have either given me or bought for the baby.. that is what you see on the table.

New Trailer

Jesse's work trailer was stolen last month from his work site.. (What's wrong with people!) They stole over half of his equipment and his entire trailer! The insurance would only cover the stolen tools and not the trailer (due to lack of paper filing) It all worked out fairly good though cuz he was able to buy a lot of his new tools on Craig's List.. Here is a picture of the monsterous new enclosed trailer he bought to replace his stolen one.. He thinks he is in heaven now.. We just need to get some graphics for the sides of it now since he can do his own contracting.

Match Box 20!!

Karie, Katie and myself went to the Match Box 20 concert on Monday. It was a blast! We met at my house for some dinner and drinks and then headed out to the concert. Alanis Morrisette opened for them and she was really good. Our origional seats were pretty good but we noticed that the section to the right of us was almost completely empty and it was right next to the stage so during set changes, we moved over. We ended up with front row seats and Rob Thomas was seriously about 15 feet from us! He even came off stage at one point to wipe his face and to get some throat spray and he couldn't have been more then 7 feet away from me if that. I didn't bring my camera in cuz I was afraid they would take it so I don't have any good pics of him but here are a few of us girls.

Friends and Babies Day

We all headed over to Kristen's house last Saturday for our monthly "Babies and Friends Day". We ordered pizza and just hung out with all the kids. We are missing Alex and TJ from these pictures.

Dee Dee's 40th Birthday Party

We threw my sister in law a 40th B-Day party. She had an amazing time and had a really good turnout. We rented the top half of Dunham's bar (right off Robert Street) We catered in food for everyone (taco bar.. yum!) Everyone had a great time and did there fair share of Karokee. I think that was thanks to the bartender we had in our room.. she poured some pretty stiff drinks from what I heard (and seen!) Here are some pics from that night.
