Nursery Update III
Jesse and I finished the nursery over the weekend. Put the new curtain rods up, washed the wood floors and put the crib together. I broke down and went and bought the crib mattress also.
After getting the entire room put to-gether, I couldn't stand looking at the adorable bed set just sitting there... I lookes so cute in there!

Jesse Update II
Jess went in yesterday to have his stiches removed.. He was complaining about them for a few days and some were red.. thought they might have been infected but when he went in to have them removed, turns out that the one that was super sore was acutally growing into his skin! OUCH! Anyway.. got them taken out and the pathology report came back clean for the mass they removed from the elbow :)
Painting the Nursery II
Today Jess put up all the tape for the stripes and by the time I got home from work, we were able to start with painting in the stripes. At first we were going to just do pink and white but at the last minute, Jess suggested we also do a third stripe in a pastel sage color.. so I went back up to Lowe's and bought some more paint. The finished wall looks absolutly darling and it wasn't that hard to do either. We also put up a valance and curtains just to see how well they go together.. matches perfectly!

Painting the Nursery
Jesse and I got started on the nursery today. We are planning on doing a strip pattern on one wall. Today we got everything all taped and put on the first coat of white.

Finally registered!
My mom, sister Erin and I finally went to Wal-Mart and did the baby registry. It's been so cold out lately that I've been putting it off. It's all done now though! We had a great time. My parents also bought the crib.. I can't wait to put it up

Jesse Update
Jesse had his elbow surgery yesterday and it went very good. He was only in there for a half an hour! We had to be there at 7:30 am and his surgery wasn't until 9:00.. We were home by 11:00 so it wasn't too bad. He had a small mass removed from his elbow. The Dr. doesn't wasn't worried about it but it will be sent to pathology for a full work up to be sure.
25 week OB Visit
I had my 25 week OB visit today. All went well.. I gained 10 lbs since my last visit which was the beginning of December! Must have been all those 2nd trips to the food table at Christmas and my birthday! They did a glucose screening today also.. won't get the results back from that for a few days though. Next week marks the start of my 3rd Trimester! Only 15 more weeks to go!

Nursery Bedding
Just bought the most adorable baby girl bedding today for the nursery! I am SO excited to go and pick it up! We are also going to paint the walls in a striped pattern with light and a darker pink and if possible, a small white stripe going vertically. I am also going crib shopping this Sunday with my mom and sister.. In a few weeks, we should have almost everything done in the nursery.. well.. almost :)
